Daniel C. Bonis
M.D.
Dr. Daniel Bonis is a board-certified anesthesiologist and pain management physician with decades of experience helping patients regain function and improve quality of life through advanced, evidence-based pain therapies. Known for his thoughtful, patient-centered approach, Dr. Bonis focuses on delivering individualized treatment plans designed to reduce pain and restore mobility so patients can return to the activities they enjoy.
Born in Austin and raised in Long Beach, Dr. Bonis developed an early interest in science and medicine, driven by a curiosity about pathophysiology and the practical application of medical science to improve lives.
He earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Zoology and Physiology from California State University, Long Beach before completing medical school at Keck School of Medicine of USC. Dr. Bonis then completed his internship in Internal Medicine followed by his residency in Anesthesiology at Loma Linda University Medical Center. He later pursued advanced fellowship training in Pain Management and holds certification through the American Board of Pain Management.
Drawn to pain medicine because of its evolving treatment modalities and its ability to significantly impact patients’ daily lives, Dr. Bonis values the relationships he builds with patients and finds fulfillment in seeing them achieve greater comfort and independence through therapy.
Prior to joining his current practice, Dr. Bonis served in multiple leadership and clinical roles throughout California and the Southwest, most recently providing interventional pain care through Interventional Pain Solutions.
His clinical specialties include anesthesiology and interventional pain management, with expertise in advanced minimally invasive procedures designed to treat chronic spine, nerve, and musculoskeletal pain.
Outside of medicine, Dr. Bonis enjoys sports and photography, pursuits that reflect his appreciation for both active living and creative expression.
